Abstract
We have recently observed a case of acute kidney Injury (AKI) in a patient with Crohn's disease (CD) receiving isoniazid (INH) prophylaxis for latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI). While the most common INH-related adverse events are well-known and include asymptomatic elevation of serum liver enzyme concentrations, peripheral neuropathy and hepatotoxicity, INH-induced AKI is a very rare event that has been occasionally reported in the literature particularly in pediatric patients [ 1 Sakashita K Murata K Takahashi Y et al.
