The Clinical Spectrum of Cutaneous Tuberculosis: A Case Series Emphasizing Prompt Recognition and Treatment.

Cutaneous tuberculosis (CTB) represents a minor proportion of all cases of extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB), with lupus vulgaris (LV) and cervical scrofuloderma (CS) being the most prevalent forms. Metastatic tuberculosis abscesses (MTBA), tuberculids (TBDs), and tuberculosis verrucosa cutis (TBVC) are less common variations. Since CTB frequently occurs in individuals with strong immune systems who have experienced a hypersensitivity reaction to an extracutaneous source of(MTB), it can be challenging to diagnose. This case series emphasizes the diverse clinical manifestations of CTB, highlighting the urgent need for prompt diagnosis and effective treatment.
