Abstract
Supplemental dataset including the raw data of all assays performed with samples from South American Camelids (SAC) Overall, 449 SAC on ten different herds in Germany were tested for the occurence of epizootic and zoonotic viral and bacterial pathogens. This included antibody tests for Schmallenberg virus, Borna disease Virus, and bovine viral diarrhea virus-1, as well as Brucella sp., Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, Coxiella burnetii and Chlamydiaceae. Direct detection of pathogens was done for bovine viral diarrhea virus-2, border disease virus, and bovine herpesvirus 1, as well as Mycoplasma haemolamae, Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis, C. difficile, C. perfringens, Salmonella Typhimurium, Campylobacter coli, Campylobacter jejuni, and Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli.
