Abstract
Laryngeal tuberculosis is a rare form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis that may cause airway obstruction in severe cases. Tuberculosis during pregnancy is associated with poor outcomes for both the mother and the fetus, but laryngeal involvement in pregnant women is extremely uncommon. We report a case of a 33-year-old pregnant woman with a history of cesarean delivery who developed severe airway narrowing due to laryngeal tuberculosis. Despite the risk of airway compromise, successful preterm vaginal birth after cesarean section was achieved at 32 weeks of gestation without tracheostomy. This case highlights that, even in pregnant patients with airway obstruction caused by laryngeal tuberculosis, careful airway management and cooperative multidisciplinary care can allow safe delivery.
