Abstract

Isolated tuberculous abscess of the liver is very rare and difficult to diagnose, as it can be confused with other liver lesions. We report the case of a 67-year-old immunocompromised patient with no known history of tuberculosis who was hospitalized for a liver abscess. A puncture revealed a Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection, which was confirmed by molecular biology.
