Abstract
Abstract The concept of partnership is a core principle of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund). It is reflected in its governance structures and through various collaboration initiatives, including with IOs, that are part of its standard operating model or that are concluded to respond to global challenges and to develop novel forms of initiatives in furtherance of the Global Fund’s mission. Collaboration and partnership among IOs are important tools to enhance their efficiency and leverage their impact and they have become and will remain, with time and globalization, imperative in an ever-expanding number of fields.
