Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the leading causes of mortality and morbidity worldwide, affecting millions of people annually. Despite advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, TB continues to be a major public health challenge. The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported a recent increase on the new cases incidence, especially in resource-limited areas and among vulnerable populations, including adolescents. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated this issue by disrupting access to healthcare services, interrupting essential drug supply chains, and causing delays in the diagnosis and treatment of many TB patients,
