Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, is the most deadly bacterial infection in the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 10 million people worldwide are infected with this disease every year, potentially infecting about a quarter of the global population, resulting in millions of deaths. Therefore, it is critical that we need to make necessary efforts interrupt the epidemic of tuberculosis. Here, we divide tuberculosis into different early warning levels and give relevant treatment suggestions for residents. In addition, we summarized the health prescriptions for tuberculosis patients, including nutritional diet, scientific exercise, psychological decompression, tobacco and alcohol control, Traditional Chinese medicine regulation, rational drug use, disease care and rehabilitation management. For anyone committed to learning more about this ongoing public health threat, this review addresses a wide range of fundamental issues.
