Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a highly contagious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which has historically resulted in numerous fatalities. The analysis of TB is conducted through mathematical models featuring differential equations that describe the dynamics of epidemic spread, as well as its control and prevention. This paper presents the SEIR [Formula: see text] D model of TB. According to this model, the total population is divided into five compartments: susceptible, exposed, infected, recovered, and deceased. This paper evaluates the rates (such as transmission rate, incubation rate, etc.) at which individuals transition from one compartment to another under various scenarios.
