Abstract
• Pott's disease, is a severe form of tuberculosis that affects the spine. • Spinal tuberculosis typically begins with the infection of the vertebral bodies or intervertebral discs by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. • Treatment of spinal tuberculosis typically involves a combination of anti-tuberculosis medications. • Spinal TB is infectious, however inflammation and tissue damage may increase the risk of bone tumours. • MRI, CT, and X-rays can assess spinal TB, presented report showcase the recent advancement and diagnostic methods used for the MTB infection.
