Abstract
Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious and transmissible disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It represents the most common granulomatous pathology affecting the larynx. In most cases it is secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis. Laryngeal tuberculosis is a public health problem due to changes in the clinical pattern of the disease that frequently leads to misdiagnosis and delayed treatment, which increases the risk of contagion. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the diagnostic and treatment aspects of laryngeal tuberculosis.
