THE ROLE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY METHODS IN THE TREATMENT OF PULMONARY TB PATIENTS

The review provides literature data on the use of physiotherapy methods in the complex treatment of pulmonary TB patients along with chemotherapy. The combination of the methods enables to increase treatment effectiveness by more rapid achievement of sputum conversion and cavity closure and, thus, shorten the inpatient phase of treatment.
