Abstract
Most tuberculosis (TB) in solid organ transplantation is due to reactivation of latent TB in the recipient. Donor-positive TB remains very rare, as active TB is a contraindication to organ donation. However, since donor screening is based on past medical history, epidemiological risk and radiological imaging, undiagnosed TB can be missed. Management of donor-positive TB in transplant recipients remains unclear with no definitive guidelines.
