Yali Zheng

Abstract

Potential competing interests: No potential competing interests to declare.Sabrine et al. described an association between sputum IL-32 and asthma severity. There are some issues that need to be clarified.1.However, the tilte of the study claimed that that the correlation was observed in chiildhood asthma patients. How they defined and enrolled the specific group should be described.2. Since IL-32 can be expressed by monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, T cells, as well as epithelial cells, the reason that the authors chosed monocytes to test the expression level of IL-32 should be clarified.
