Abstract

This poster presents a clinical case highlighting the role of radiological imaging in diagnosing an unusual presentation of extra-pulmonary tuberculosis. A 30-year-old male presented with non-specific symptoms including weight loss, fever, and progressive axillary swelling initially suspected to be reactive lymphadenopathy. Subsequent CT imaging revealed necrotic axillary lymphadenopathy without evidence of malignancy, prompting multidisciplinary discussion and ultrasound-guided biopsy. Histopathological analysis confirmed granulomatous disease consistent with tuberculosis. This case demonstrates the critical role of radiology in identifying atypical presentations of infectious diseases and guiding multidisciplinary management.
