Abstract

Peritoneal dialysis (PD)-associated peritonitis remains a significant complication of PD. Although the incidence of tuberculous peritonitis has progressively declined over the years, the optimal treatment of tuberculous peritonitis remains unclear. Our study aims to examine the incidence, treatment, and outcomes of peritonitis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis spp. in patients on PD in Australia and New Zealand.
