Abstract

Drug reaction/rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) stands for serious and potentially life-threatening toxidermia, as it can cause severe visceral manifestations. Antituberculosis drug-related DRESS remains rare and unrecognized. In this paper, we report the case of a 76-year-old patient with DRESS induced by antituberculosis prescribed medicines for a culture-confirmed pulmonary tuberculosis.
