Abstract
Detecting Tuberculosis from Skin Headspace In article number 2100235, Hossam Haick and co‐workers report on a new diagnostic approach for enabling a noninvasive, fast, and highly accurate way of detecting Tuberculosis. The approach relies on Tuberculosis‐specific volatile biomarkers that are detected and quantified from the skin headspace. A specifically designed lab‐based and wearable sensors array in conjugation with machine learning translates the detection of these biomarkers into a point‐of‐care diagnosis with sensitivity above 90%.
