Abstract

Serpiginous choroiditis is an idiopathic recurring, asymmetric, bilateral, and progressive inflammation of the inner choroid involving the choriocapillaris and RPE. A 50yrs female presented with complaints of floaters in left eye for 4days. Best corrected visual acuity in the right eye was 6 on 6 and left eye was 6 on 12.Anterior segment examination in both eyes was normal. Central fields in left eye showed a central scotoma. Fundus examination of left eye showed a greyish yellow peripapillary creeping choroidal lesion involving the macula. Fundus fluorescein angiography and fundus autofluorescence confirmed the presence of serpiginous choroiditis. Mantoux test was positive. She was started on anti-tuberculous treatment and oral steroids. v\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} o\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} b\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} .shape {behavior:url(#default#VML);} 281 1 7560000 10692000 359410 259 261 257 276 262 279 1 0Z0OURAJXN$&C`2+*(&1>(P 5 1 1 285 282 1 False 0 0 0 0 -1 304800 243 True 128 77 255 3175 3175 70 True True True True True 278 134217728 1 3 -9999996.000000 -9999996.000000 8 Empty 16711680 52479 26367 13421772 16737792 13382502 16777215 Bluebird 22858575 22852950 (`@````````` 266 263 5 110183775 110178150
