Application of T-SPOT.TB in pediatric tuberculosis and advances of T-SPOT.TB in other body fluids except blood

As a new immunoassay, T-SPOT.TB has been widely used in the diagnosis of tuberculosis in children.A large number of clinical trials show that it has better sensitivity and specificity simultaneously, compared with other diagnostic methods for tuberculosis in children.This article focuses on the principle, influence factors and specific application, and reviews advances in other body fluids except blood of T-SPOT.TB.
