One case of exogenous lipid pneumonia complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis and literature review

Abstract

Exogenous lipoid pneumonia (ExLP) is a rare disease in clinical practice.Because of the lack of typical and specific clinical manifestations and auxiliary examination, further understanding and detailed history collection are very important for the diagnosis of ExLP.ExLP combined pulmonary tuberculosis is even more rare and can be easily misdiagnosed.This article reports a typical case of ExLP complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis confirmed by etiology and pathology, and literatures are reviewed in order to improve the further understanding of the disease.
