Abstract
The seventh meeting of the RCC-TB coincided with the first meeting of the new expanded committee RCC-THV covering not only TB but also HIV and viral hepatitis.The first meeting of the Regional Collaborating Committee to accelerate response to Tuberculosis, HIV and viral Hepatitis, (RCC-THV), organized by WHO Regional Office for Europe, took place on 11 April 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The overall objective was to provide an interactive platform for donors, technical agencies, professional societies, and patient and community representatives to foster collaborative efforts and facilitate accelerated response to TB (including multi-drug resistant tuberculosis), HIV and viral Hepatitis prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care. This serves as a Regional platform for the 53 Member States in the WHO European Region to scale-up the response to all three epidemics in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 3, Health and Well Being. This document reviews the meeting content and summarizes key outcomes and the way forward in the response to the three epidemics.
